A German client requested a pumping station for a major biogas plant, with particularly demanding technical specifications.
Given the characteristics of the plant, considering the considerable pipeline length, pressure losses, and elevation to overcome, the required operating pressure ranged from 16 to 24 bar. The client needed a solution that was reliable, safe, and fully remotely controllable, even under intensive and continuous operating conditions.
We have developed a fully automated configuration capable of coordinating two BESTIALE units connected in series, ensuring the flow rate and pressure required by the client.
The developed system features advanced technical characteristics that ensure reliability, safety, and ease of use. It is equipped with integrated safety systems with automatic and manual valves, positioned both at suction and discharge, to guarantee operational continuity and complete protection of the plant. The advanced control system, based on a ComAp controller with InteliScada platform, allows management, monitoring, and remote control of all operational phases; thanks to customized software, pumping operations are managed automatically under the supervision of a single operator located at the umbilical system at the end of the line. The mobile interface allows monitoring and management via a dedicated app or tablet installed directly on the tractor, optimizing daily activities in terms of simplicity, safety, and efficiency. The system also generates detailed daily reports on the amounts of slurry distributed. Thanks to this innovative solution, the client now has a high-performance, extremely versatile plant specifically designed to meet the most advanced needs of the agricultural and biogas sectors.
