Given the widespread availability of electrical power, both from traditional sources and photovoltaic systems, our Dutch partner Smits B.V. asked us to study and assess the feasibility of an innovative Lampo AG system.
Smits B.V. needed a Lampo AG that would allow easy switching from generator power to the electrical grid and/or photovoltaic system, if the area was equipped with one. This requirement would enable the end customer (a well-known Dutch agricultural company) to effectively connect the Lampo system to the photovoltaic installation or the company’s electrical network.
Building on our established Lampo AG system, we have developed an innovative prototype in which the remote switching between grid and generator is managed through a secure control of both power sources.
Lampo AG Hybrid is designed to ensure maximum versatility, allowing safe and immediate switching between grid power and generator. While the traditional Lampo AG model operated exclusively via generator, this new prototype entrusts complete system management to the ComAp InteliGen 500 control unit. This sophisticated device constantly monitors the electrical protections of both the generator and the grid/photovoltaic system, simplifying the activation of irrigation functions through an intuitive and modern graphical interface.
