        Dry running capability

        STANDARD
        It is a solution for applications where the pump might run dry. It includes an auxiliary gland and oil reservoir that lubricate the seal faces and prevent dry running during priming, re-priming, or standby operation. The system features continuous circulation and cooling of the lubricant and seal faces, and allows the pump to run dry for hours without damaging the mechanical seal.

        Our pumps are made with high-quality materials to ensure longevity and durability. Optional materials are also available for applications requiring resistance to abrasive or corrosive substances. CD4MCu is a duplex stainless steel that uses a two-phase metallurgical process, unlike the single-phase process typical of common stainless steels like 316. The result is a stainless steel with corrosion resistance equal to or greater than that of 316 stainless steel. CD4MCu allows the pumps to be used in more abrasive applications, offering increased corrosion resistance.
