This innovative system assists in priming the pump by suctioning the liquid from the suction pipe using the vacuum created. In this case, the system does not require a foot valve but needs a valve on the discharge pipe to generate the vacuum for suction. The system can be operated manually or in an automatic version. In the latter case, the electric pump unit starts automatically once filling is complete.
Cornell Redi-Prime® is a patented, fully automated system for rapid priming or re-priming without constant monitoring. Redi-Prime also maintains premium hydraulic efficiency to reduce energy consumption. This priming system was designed utilizing a diaphragm vacuum pump to prevent water carry-over and contamination.
E-self is a self-priming transfer electric pump that makes it easy to prime the pump unit using a 230Vac electric pump. It easily fills the suction pipe and the pump. This system requires a foot valve to enable priming.

With this system, the ComAp InteliGen 500 control unit manages the inverter (VFD). Thanks to this setup, it is possible to integrate all the specific irrigation functions for pump control and protection, as well as the hydraulic circuits it powers.
